Arizona Technology Enterprises LLC (AzTE) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Arizona State University Foundation. AzTE is contracted by ASU to manage its technology venturing, and to work with university inventors and industry to transform scientific progress into products and services.
AzTE transfers technologies invented at ASU, Northern Arizona University and their affiliated research centers to the private sector by mining university research, prosecuting patents, marketing inventions and negotiating licenses. Technology transfer also facilitates ASU’s efforts to attract and retain superior faculty and graduate recruitment, while returning income to the inventor and the university to support ongoing research.
