This fund awards an annual scholarship to an incoming first-year or transfer student from the Pittsburgh area.
This scholarship has allowed me to study here without having as much financial stress. It’s allowed me to explore areas on campus, take more classes and be fully immersed in school and my programs. I want to express extreme gratitude to the donors who funded my scholarship. You’ve given me the opportunity to pursue my passions and studies here at ASU.
Impact of Donor Support
In 2024, the ASU Alumni Association awarded over $44,000 in chapter scholarships. Since the 2010 academic year, ASU Alumni chapters have awarded over 600 scholarships, totaling more than $600,000. These scholarships are more than just financial relief – they’re a gateway to a vibrant community of Sun Devils that spans generations, offering a chance to grow, thrive and engage.
Supporting local Pittsburgh Area Students who will be attending Arizona State University is very important to me. Seeing the positive impact that my donation to the this fund and how it impacts a student's education is definitely rewarding. Paying it forward and inspiring future ASU generations will create Sun Devil students to go on to become Sun Devil Alumni. Our future will continue to be bright because of Arizona State University and our Alumni.
