Learn more about your impact

The ASU FIDM Museum in LA collects, preserves and interprets fashion objects and support materials with outstanding design merit. It fosters student learning, public engagement and recognition of the creative arts and entertainment industries by providing access to the collections through exhibitions, publications and other research opportunities.

Impact of Donor Support

In addition to engagement and learning at exhibitions, the ASU FIDM Museum welcomes researchers, students and faculty to explore collections, objects and archives. Students also get special access to curators, tours and contributors. During the 2024 exhibition, costumes for the film "Poor Things" by designer Holly Waddington were featured. Students enjoyed a private tour and Q&A session led by Waddington herself, gaining invaluable insights into her creative process.

At ASUAM, we believe in art’s profound impact as a vehicle for exchanging new ideas, perspectives and experiences. As we seek to achieve our vital mission of becoming a site for meaningful connections across all areas of research to create a better, more sustainable future, we rely on the generosity of our many donors. Every donation to ASUAM directly impacts all aspects of the Museum, from exhibitions to acquisitions, staffing to conservation. Together with the support of our donors, we look forward to our shared work in centering art and artists in the service of social good and community wellbeing.”
