Who is Eligible

All regular, active, full-time employees working 32 hours or more per week. Eligible dependents may also participate. Eligible dependents are your spouse and dependent children up to age 26.

Domestic partners are eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits. A declaration form must be completed and on file with the Payroll & Benefits department.

401(K) Plan

ASU Foundation has established a 401(k) plan to help you prepare for your financial future. This benefit allows you to defer a portion of your eligible compensation to a 401(k) account 1st of the month following date of hire. The foundation matches a portion of the employee contributions. The foundation also makes a discretionary contribution to every 401(k) eligible employee’s account on a per-pay basis. Employees are always 100% vested in their own contributions. Foundation contributions are vested on a five-year schedule.

Paid Sick, Vacation, and Holiday Time

ASU Foundation offers paid time off to eligible employees which includes: 10 paid holidays per year, your birthday off with pay, vacation, and sick time.

Tuition Reduction

Benefit-eligible employees qualify for a tuition reduction for themselves and eligible dependents. Reductions are available for undergraduate and graduate courses taken at Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University and the University of Arizona.

  • Eligible employees and their spouses may register for up to nine credit hours per regular semester (up to six during summer session) at the rate of $25, plus laboratory and course fees.
  • Dependent children shall pay 25 percent of resident tuition plus laboratory and course fees.

Health Reimbursement Plan (HRA)

The foundation offers a reimbursement plan to employees who have completed 3 years of full-time employment. This benefit is fully funded by the foundation. Single employees qualify for up to $2250 in reimbursements; family coverage qualifies for up to $4500 in reimbursement. This benefit is used for health care expenses for yourself and your dependents.
