The ASU School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering, launching in Fall 2026, is dedicated to addressing a critical health workforce shortage by preparing future physicians to become leaders and innovators in health care, both in Arizona and beyond. Through an integrated curriculum of medicine, engineering, technology and humanities, students will work alongside top faculty and researchers and leverage tools, such as AI and data science, to better connect with more patients, identify innovative practices and improve health outcomes in their communities.
