Cory Hahn Endowed Scholarship

Learn more about your impact
A highly touted high school baseball player, Cory Hahn was paralyzed from the chest down sliding into second base in the first weekend of his freshman season at ASU in 2011. He continues to be an active member of the baseball program, first as a student coach and now as a dedicated supporter and advocate.
The Arizona Diamondbacks drafted Hahn in the 34th round of the 2013 MLB Draft, and two years later named their annual 34th-round draft selection the "Cory Hahn 34th Pick." Hahn, who graduated from ASU's W.P. Carey School of Business in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in communication, currently works in Arizona's scouting department.
The Cory Hahn Endowed Scholarship was established by the Diamondbacks in honor of Cory to enhance student access and excellence. Your gift preserves his legacy.
Impact of Donor Support
- More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 7,406 students received scholarships funded by donors, which totaled $39.3 million.
- More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 85% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
- And donors helped ASU offer more than 4,500 hours of free tutoring.
