The Gruman Family Hockey Business Scholarship Endowment provides opportunities to Sun Devil Hockey student-athletes pursuing business degrees from Arizona State University. Your generosity ensures that our student-athletes can excel on the ice, in the classroom and beyond.
Impact of Donor Support
- The cost for an out-of-state student-athlete to attend ASU for one year is more than $75,000 on average between tuition, team travel, equipment, sports medicine, food and nutrition and tutoring/academic resources.
- In 2024, Arizona State ranked ahead of Stanford, Cal, USC and UCLA for the third year in a row for Academic Progress Rating which tracks achievement in the classroom year over year.
- Some more metrics that show just how much these hard-working student-athletes have achieved with your support: 3.40 average GPA (spring 2024), 43% of the senior class made the Dean’s List throughout the 2023-24 academic year, 50 total student-athletes across six teams were named to the 2023 conference Academic Honor Roll and 165 total Sun Devil student-athletes received degrees in the 2023-24 academic year, with 58 graduating with honors.
