The impact of your support for Sun Devil Athletics goes far beyond the field of competition. Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we are able to provide a first-class experience for our 650 student-athletes across 26 programs. Together, we have built an athletics department that produces Olympians, All-Americans and champions in all facets of life. In making a gift to support this initiative, you not only invest in the student-athlete experience, but you also invest in the potential of each individual student-athlete and everything they can become.
Impact of Donor Support
- The average cost for an out-of-state student-athlete to attend Arizona State University for one year is more than $75,000 between tuition, team travel, equipment, sports medicine, food and nutrition and tutoring/academic resources.
- In 2024, ASU ranked ahead of Stanford, Cal, USC and UCLA for the third year in a row for Academic Progress Rating, which tracks achievement in the classroom year over year.
- These metrics show how much ASU’s hard-working student-athletes have achieved with your support: 3.40 average GPA (spring 2024), 43% of the senior class made the dean’s list throughout the 2023–24 academic year, 50 student-athletes across six teams were named to the 2023 conference Academic Honor Roll and 165 Sun Devil student-athletes received degrees in the 2023–24 academic year, with 58 graduating with honors.
