This fund provides a need-based and merit-based scholarship, awarded to incoming and current students, who demonstrate a consistent commitment to the Latino community through community service, attending Arizona State University.
Receiving this scholarship gave me a boost of confidence that was essential for me to gather the strength to finish my undergraduate education strong and determined. It showed me that I was capable of achieving great things with effort and work. I am looking forward to applying the knowledge I have gathered throughout my college career into my field and to real world cases where I can make a difference for my community.
Impact of Donor Support
In 2024, the ASU Alumni Association awarded over $44,000 in chapter scholarships. Since the 2010 academic year, ASU Alumni chapters have awarded over 600 scholarships, totaling more than $600,000. These scholarships are more than just financial relief – they’re a gateway to a vibrant community of Sun Devils that spans generations, offering a chance to grow, thrive and engage.
ASU Los Diablos is a vital contributor to many Latino scholars who need extra financial support to achieve their educational dreams. Donating to this organization gives me immense satisfaction, knowing that my contribution directly impacts these students' success. It is truly rewarding to play a part in empowering the next generation of Latino leaders.
