The Zachary Baker Research Lab fund allocates resources toward understanding former dementia caregivers and leverages that understanding to improve the lives of caregivers. This also includes funding research studies, community workshops, support groups and the development of programs that assist former dementia caregivers in coping with grief and adapting to life post-caregiving.

Impact of Donor Support
Your generous donation directly supports research to aid former caregivers of individuals with dementia. As former dementia caregivers navigate life after the death of the person they cared for, they sometimes find themselves with unmet needs (e.g., grief, reduced satisfaction with life). Our research aims to find ways to meet those needs.
