Dr. Kristen Nielsen Hermann has served Barrett, The Honors College and ASU combined for more than 30 years. As a student at Arizona State University, Kristen was a Leadership Scholar, and she is creating this scholarship at Barrett in honor of the ASU Leadership Scholarship Program run by Dr. Christine Wilkinson. As Vice Dean of Barrett, Dr. Hermann exemplifies exceptional leadership in her academic and student affairs roles. She has taught the HON 194 Barrett Leadership course since 2014 and currently co-teaches the course with Dean Tara Williams, where students explore various aspects of leadership. The Kristen Nielsen Hermann Leadership Scholarship will have preference for recipients who are ASU Leadership Scholarship Program (LSP) scholars or who have demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities.
