The Spatial Analysis Research Center (SPARC) is a GIScience and earth observing center within the School of Geographical Sciences and Urban Planning at Arizona State University.

With your support, SPARC can continue to provide opportunities for researchers to advance the science and technology of GIScience and earth observing, create new processes for spatial analysis, and lead the transdisciplinary application of spatial data science solutions for addressing novel and impactful research questions.

Impact of Donor Support

  • More learners can pursue higher education. In 2022, 7,406 students received scholarships funded by donors, which totaled $39.3 million.
  • More students succeed. ASU ranks #1 among the state’s public universities for its 85% first-year retention rate thanks in part to donor-funded student success initiatives.
